Book Reviews?

Write a book review of the last book you couldn't put down.

(My blogging prompt for today)  

I don't think I have ever written a book review.  I also try not to read them as they often contain too much information, and potential spoilers.  The only exception would be the teaser on the book cover itself.  It tends to offer a hint at what is to come.

I enjoy reading books from independent authors who are trying to make it in the publishing world.  I have watched a few grow into great writers.  To help them on their journey I have written a few lines to support them in their social media or website promos, but it is not what I could call a review.

Reviews are also so subjective.  Something you see in the plot or a character might be totally irrelevant to another reader.

I prefer going in almost blind to a book, and not basing it on someone else's thoughts.
